Yesterday Charlotte was baptized - and as Gary would say, she is no longer a heathen. We couldn't have had better weather if we had designed it ourselves. We had a wonderful turnout and plenty to eat. I must admit I felt a bit scattered as I tried to greet each guest, but also tried to make sure the "guest of honor" was on her best behavior. But many stepped in to help me and Brian out so that I kept my sanity.
Thanks to all that came! And thank you for so many wonderful gifts for Charlotte.
And Charlotte in her Dutch costume!

Charlotte looked ADORABLE! I am so glad that I got to spend some QT with her =)
So very glad the day was perfect for you!
You look so thin in these pictures! In a good way of course ;)
Thanks Jacqueline! I wonder what will happen when I'm done nursing Charlotte, but for now I'm enjoying being able to wear all my old pants.
Ang, you look beautiful :) sorry i couldn't be there... i'm looking forward to seeing you guys soon though!
Apparently, my cousin told me you lose even more weight when you stop nursing! She said she lost an extra 10 lbs. I don't think that I will lose that much, but I would be happy with a nice 5.
Since I started weaning to morning and night nursing I have lost 4 pounds. Becky said she was under where she started before she got pregnant when she stoppped nursing. I am kind of cheating with losing weight since I am in a Slim Down Challenge at work...racking in the points :-) You Burch's all looked beautiful, Charlotte is lucky to have such great parents! BTW I couldn't tell you were scattered at all, you handled everything perfectly and did a great job!!!
Everything was so beautiful! I agree with Chris, you did not seem at all frazzled. You are supermom--that was my summary for Meredith.
