Sunday morning we were greeted by loads of our wonderful lake effect snow. It was fresh and beautiful, so we bundled up in snow pants and took our Charlotte's new sleigh (gift from Grandma B). Maggie used up some of her energy leaping through the snow drifts, which really made Charlotte laugh.
We found a small hill in a playground and pushed Charlotte down. She didn't go much more than a foot at a time, but still seemed to get a kick out of it.
What a fun daddy
Of course, we had to take advantage of this virgin snow with some good old fashioned snow angels.
Eskimo kisses
After about 30 minutes of all of that, Charlotte was ready to move on to warmer things. I had a lot of fun and look forward to some real sledding at VanRaalte park when she gets older.
