Until I have some more knitting pics to post -here's a pic of Shari's latest project, courtesy of her daughter Amber. This is the Miss Dashwood hat from knitty.com. Of course, it's in progress and has stitch markers along the top...but it's adorable!!! I want to see the finished product with a cute baby (girl) modeling it. No Amber, this is one hat Nolan probably wouldn't be adorable in. Wait until you pop out a girl.

I wrote this comment earlier, but blogger had an issue and wouldn't publish it...so I'll retry and my apologies if it double posts! I have to say I am so in love with this hat. This picture just does not do it justice. My mom is such a great knitter and does patterns I would never dream I could do. Check out the pattern on knittty.com to see what it will look like finished! I'm working on a baby hat, and have also had to restart my sock as I knit way too loosely so I had to switch to smaller needles!
