Christmas groove
I'm excited to say that the holidays feel as though they're officially starting. This past weekend we went to Beneath the Wreath, the fundraiser for Grand Rapids Junior League. We've made it a tradition to pick up our year's supply of green tea and Cherry Republic salsa. Today, I get to shop for ornaments to decorate a Christmas tree that will be auctioned off for my local chapter of the Holland Junior Welfare League. I also get to go dollar store shopping to buy gifts for a Christmas party that the league puts on for the Ottawa Area Center, a school for the learning disabled. All that on top of my Christmas knitting- I would say I'm officially in the groove. Today I saw the Radio City Rockettes on the local news and begged Brian to get us tickets. The only thing I'm lacking now is the Christmas music - that can be easily fixed. Bring out the Sinatra!

I asked David if we can go see the Rockettes too... Are they in GR too or just Detroit?
Hey Angie dear! 95.7 is playing Christmas music round the clock! It started on Halloween if you can believe that!
Has Michael Buble' done a Christmas CD yet? That I could listen to all day.
I think David and I might put up our tree this weekend. As the next few weekends we will be out of town. We bought some cheap ornaments this weekend. Hopefully we will get a jump start on Christmas shopping again this year. Have you thought of any together gifts for you and Brian?
The Rockettes are coming to GR next week, but tickets seem pretty pricey. We usually don't get our tree up until after Thanksgiving because we do the real tree and don't want it to die to soon.
Julie - I thought you already knew what you wanted to get me and Brian. You seemed to have a gift "revelation" when we saw you :)
yeah I have something in mind but its pricier than our budget. I would really have to convince David to get it... So I thought you might have something in mind for some Ideas. Besides, the thing I have in mind may be sold out. Its a HOT item this year!
