This week's spinning

I've been spinning some pencil roving for a Christmas project. I love the muted pastel tones in this colorway. I have close to 200 yards done. I can't wait to see how the final project turns out.

I'm getting into this knitting stuff!! I now have a few projects going. I haven't learned enough to be a yarn efficionado yet, but I'm reaaly appreciating the variety at Clever Ewe. Can't wait for one of there awesome sales, and I've even checked their calendar,

I think Clever Ewe is having a sale this weekend to celebrate husband's going away to hunt. They e-mailed a coupon for 25% off your yarn.

That's right! I forgot about the coupon. I opened my email while helping with Matthew this week and need to print it off. While there (clever Ewe) one day I watched this woman blend colors and textures of yarn and thought what beautiful choices there are out there. It just inspired me, but I was also there to get a quick fix. I've also visited JT Stitchery for some quick fixes on my projects. My hands aren't like yours when it comes to knitting Angie. One can only hope to aspire!

So I wore my socks for the first time yesterday. I know you told me, but how am I supposed to wash them?

Those are beautiful tones. Does the wool come this way?

Patty Ann - the roving was pre-dyed, so I can't take credit for the colors.

David - I throw them in the wash inside a delicates bag, then air dry. Since it is unlikely you have a delicates bag - maybe just turn them inside out and make sure it's not too rough of a wash cycle. They should do just fine.
