Things got indescribably painful there for a while, so I decided not to be the "hero" and the epidural is now in. With no more pain, my body is letting things progress much better now. I'm 5 cm and station 1. My legs feel like they fell off, but hey, I'm loving life again!

I am glad that you're moving along. Everyone at work (even my kids) know that today is the day for Charlotte!! Glad you're comfortable, even if you can't feel your legs. Still praying for you three.....

Magic, true magic, that epidural is. Enjoy it while it lasts becaues your body will be sore from those contractions! Worth it, though, of course.

I'm sitting here knitting my sock (yeah the 2nd to the one from the 4th of July--haha) and thinking about you so I keep checking your updates!! Sounds like things are going smoother and more comfortable. now the big question is What will little Charlie's birthday be?? Is she gonna happen still yet today on Jan 12th or is she gonna hold out a be a lucky little 13th :)

I'm saying prayers that everything continues to go well for you guys into tonight.
