A Good Hurt

Sunday I did a lot of this

which turned into this.

And now I'm feeling a lot of this.

But didn't my first handspun turn out beautifully?! (This is where you lavish me with compliments even if you've never seen another skein of handspun to compare it to.) It was worth all the pain.

Awesome Angie!! Glad that spinning wheel is 1. Being used, 2. Being used for good, and not evil.

That is really beautiful yarn. I'm anxious to see what you knit up with that. Did Maggie try to attack you the whole time?

Oh, you guys have such a great job praising me. Thanks!
I am probably going to knit some sort of winter wear with it - maybe a cabled hat or mittens. I'll have to see how the gauge turns out.
And no, Maggie didn't attack me, but only because I shut myself in a closed room or wait until she's so exhausted at the end of the day that she can hardly lift her lids to see what I'm up to.
