Tuesday is our Valentine's Day party with the after school program at GRYC. I'm heading up the craft room and have planned tissue paper carnations. They're simple and fun. I want to change it up a little by having the kids attach little tags with IOUs. It will be good to expose them to gift giving that comes from the heart as opposed to the wallet.
I also spent some creative energy on invites for my sister's upcoming baby shower. I think they turned out cute...
I have a few other things still in the works, including a gift basket I'm donating to a silent auction for the Junior League's endowment fund. The basket includes a bunch of baby items, including a knit teddy bear.
I have to get back to the Super Bowl commercials now!

Love the carnations and the baby shower invite! Great job!
Angie you are so creative! I am so impressed with all that you have accomplished this weekend. Your flowers look lovely and the baby shower invite looks absolutely adorable! I am sure all of your other projects are going to be just perfect as well. Should we start calling you Martha? Hehe =)
Angie the invitations are SO cute! Did you end up finding duck stickers?
I wish I had an ounce of your creativity!
I wish I had an ounce of your creativity!
You forgot the meals you and Bri also put together for my leave time! Thank you so much, although I think chuckles appreciates it even more since he'll be doing most of the cooking.
Will the shower have a duck theme? When are you having the shower?
Please take some time for Angie too in there OK??
What were the favorites for commercials? I loved the Budweiser Clydsdale trained by the dog. There were more, but I didn't sleep too well last night and can't remember now.
The invites look so cute! Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into them. As you know, I am not that creative at all :-( Funny thing is Leanne got me a scrapbook for the baby, but I have yet to put together our wedding scrapbook! Sometimes I wish our vacations didn't have to consist of going to PA so that I could stay home and get some projects done. Oh well...
